Setup call forwarding to launch Rosie for your business

Learn how to launch the Rosie AI service for your business by setting your business phone number to forward to Rosie

Rosie is always there to answer your calls - the hours Rosie works is up to you! You can launch Rosie at any time by setting up call forwarding for your business phone number, and turn Rosie service off at any time by updating your forwarding settings.

The Rosie team will never interrupt your provided service, and you will be notified via email before approaching any overage charges.

Call forwarding instructions for popular web phone services

OpenPhone

  1. Unconditional Call Forwarding:

    1. Click "Settings" from the left-hand menu.

    2. Under "Workspace", click "Phone Numbers".

    3. Select the phone number that you want to set up call forwarding on and select "Forward all calls" under Call flow.

    4. Add the number you'd like to forward to and hit "Forward".

  2. Conditional Call Forwarding:

    1. Click "Settings" from the left-hand menu.

    2. Under "Workspace", click "Phone Numbers".

    3. If you want to forward calls outside of business hours to another phone number, go to Call Flow settings and click on Business hours. Under Outside business hours, add the telephone number you’d like to forward calls to.

    4. OR If you’d like to forward calls during business hours to help manage call overflow, scroll to the Unanswered calls section within Call flow. Underneath When no one answers, select Forward to another number.

RingCentral

  1. Unconditional Call Forwarding:

    1. Click your profile picture at the top left.

    2. Click Call rules

    3. Click the Forward all calls toggle to turn it on.

    4. Click Save.

  2. Conditional Call Forwarding:

    1. Click your profile picture at the top left.

    2. Click Call rules

    3. Click Add schedule, then use the date and time selectors to set your call forwarding schedule.

    4. Click Save.

Google Voice

  1. Log into your Rosie Admin and go to the 'account' tab.

    1. Enable the 'Verification code for call forwarding' setting

  2. Next, go to Google Voice.

    1. In the top right, click Settings

    2. Under "Account" -> "Linked numbers," click New linked number

    3. Enter the phone number to link

    4. Select 'Send code' to trigger a text message verification code

  3. Log into your Rosie Admin

    1. Go to the 'account' tab, and click 'View text messages'. This will open a modal which displays verification text messages received by your Rosie phone number.

  4. Back in Google Voice

    1. Enter the code received in the text message and click 'Verify'

    2. Return to Settings

      1. On the left, click Calls

      2. Under 'Incoming calls' change where you get calls to the new linked Rosie number

Verizon

  1. Unconditional Call Forwarding:

    • Dial *72 followed by the virtual phone number.

    • Press the call button.

    • Wait for confirmation tone or message.

    • Hang up.

  2. Conditional Call Forwarding:

    • Busy: Dial *90 followed by the virtual phone number, press the call button.

    • No Answer: Dial *92 followed by the virtual phone number, press the call button.

AT&T

  1. Unconditional Call Forwarding:

    • Dial *21* followed by the virtual phone number and #.

    • Press the call button.

    • Listen for the confirmation tone, then hang up.

  2. Conditional Call Forwarding:

    • Busy: Dial *67* followed by the virtual phone number and #.

    • No Answer: Dial *61* followed by the virtual phone number and #.

T-Mobile

  1. Unconditional Call Forwarding:

    • Dial **21* followed by the virtual phone number and #.

    • Press the call button.

    • Wait for confirmation.

  2. Conditional Call Forwarding:

    • Busy: Dial **67* followed by the virtual phone number and #.

    • No Answer: Dial **61* followed by the virtual phone number and #.

Sprint

  1. Unconditional Call Forwarding:

    • Dial *72 followed by the virtual phone number.

    • Press the call button.

    • Listen for the confirmation tone, then hang up.

  2. Conditional Call Forwarding:

    • Busy: Dial *74 followed by the virtual phone number.

    • No Answer: Dial *73 followed by the virtual phone number.

iPhone (iOS):

  • Open "Settings."

  • Tap "Phone."

  • Tap "Call Forwarding."

  • Turn on Call Forwarding.

  • Enter the virtual phone number.

Samsung (Android):

  1. Unconditional Call Forwarding:

    • Open the Phone app.

    • Tap the three-dot menu icon and select "Settings."

    • Tap "Supplementary services" or "More settings."

    • Tap "Call forwarding."

    • Select "Always forward."

    • Enter the virtual phone number and tap "Turn on."

  2. Conditional Call Forwarding:

    • Follow the same steps, but select options like "Forward when busy," "Forward when unanswered," or "Forward when unreachable" and enter the virtual phone number for each.

Google Pixel (Android):

  1. Unconditional Call Forwarding:

    • Open the Phone app.

    • Tap the three-dot menu icon and select "Settings."

    • Tap "Calls."

    • Tap "Call forwarding."

    • Select "Always forward."

    • Enter the virtual phone number and tap "Turn on."

  2. Conditional Call Forwarding:

    • Follow the same steps, but select options like "When busy," "When unanswered," or "When unreachable" and enter the virtual phone number for each.
