How to block spam calls to your Rosie number

Spam calls and scammers using up your Rosie minutes? Not anymore! Learn about Rosie's spam settings in this article

Updated over a week ago

Rosie offers various smart spam detection settings to suit your specific business needs that can be found by navigating to Settings -> Spam Filters. Learn more about the different settings below:

  • Block 1-800 numbers: This setting prevents any 1-800 numbers from connecting to your Rosie issued phone number. The 1-800 caller will receive an automated message that they are blocked, and no Rosie account minutes will be used

  • Smart Spam Detection: This setting allows your Rosie agent to detect scam, spam, and sales calls by analyzing conversational patterns. If Rosie detects that the caller is attempting to sell your business something or is not interested in your business services, Rosie will politely end the conversation and hang up

    • These conversations will still appear in your inbox and be marked with a SPAM call type tag

  • Blocked Numbers List: This is a custom list defined by your business of numbers that you wanted blocked from accessing your Rosie issued phone number. Any phone number on this list will receive an automated message that they are blocked upon calling, and no Rosie account minutes will be used. You can always easily remove a number from this list by clicking the garbage can icon next to the number you would like to remove from the list.
